
When making your resume for submission to an advertising agency there are some things that you need to remember.
First, and most importantly, advertising agencies love to think that they constantly think out of the box. This means that a staid-looking traditional resume will not immediately get attention, and attention is what you want if you’re applying for an advertising job. Be creative in your resume. But not so creative that your credentials and work experience get buried in whatever it is you do. A good balance between creativity and “traditionalism” is the most effective strategy.
