Legal Resume

Like medical resumes, legal resumes are also customized and specific. These are used for jobs as legal secretaries, attorneys, and paralegals. Like any employer, most law firms are looking for potential employees who have some experience in the related field. In this field though, good grades, research skills, computer skills, and strong and effective communication skills are qualifications that can help you get a job even without experience.

The first section should state your objective and this should be clear and precise. Since writing skills is a premium in this field, a badly written objective can give the impression that you do not have this skill and that you are not clear about what position and career direction you want to take. The next section should highlight your qualifications and experiences specifically related to the position you are applying for. The last two sections are for your achievements and skills or areas of expertise. Since good grades is important in this filed, it is essential that you highlight your achievements and expertise related to law.
